Tables: new design, filters and views you can bookmark and share

Every table in the app now shares the same design and works the same way. In Contacts, Tasks and several Settings sections, each tab has its own address; in Contacts and Tasks it also keeps your filters.

Every table in the app (contacts, tasks, templates, users, recordings, the Dashboard and many more) now shares the same design and works the same way. On top of that, in Contacts, Tasks and several Settings sections, each tab has its own address in the browser, and in Contacts and Tasks that address keeps your filters, so you can come back to the same view or share it.

1. One design for every table

  • Each table sits inside a single card: search and filters at the top, the table in the middle, and the footer with paging at the bottom.
  • Columns you can sort by show a faint arrow next to their name, and the column the table is sorted by is highlighted. Click a column name to change the order.
  • The main name in each row (a contact, a Sales Brain (Playbook), a template, a user…) is shown in bold and underlined when you hover over it: click it to open it. The icon on the left opens it in a new browser tab.
  • Rows are highlighted as you hover over them.

Tables share the same footer:

  • On the left, on tables with several pages, Rows per page, to choose how many rows you see at once.
  • On the right, the range you're viewing and the total (for example, "1-10 of 41") and the arrows to move between pages.
  • When there's nothing to show, the footer reads "0 results". In very large lists, the total shows as "of more than 10,000".

3. Filters as separate buttons

Filters appear as buttons above the table, one per criterion. Click a filter to choose what you want to see. To clear all filters at once, click Reset.

For example, in Tasks there's a filter for each column: "Playbook" (the Sales Brain (Playbook)), task template, Assigned to, Active on, Priority and Attempts, plus Created outside office hours and Only show active tasks.

4. Tabs with their own address, and filters that stay

In these sections, each tab now has its own address in the browser:

SectionTabs
ContactsAll contacts, Favorites, Bulk Actions, Exports
TasksPending Tasks Today, All Pending Tasks, Completed Tasks
Settings › Plans and BillingSubscriptions, Licenses
Settings › SnippetGeneral, Missing fields, Form Errors, Settings

In Contacts and Tasks, the address also stores how you've set up the table: the filters, the sort order and the rows per page (in Contacts, also the page you're on). In Licenses, it stores the sort order and rows per page. This means:

  • If you reload the page, the table stays the same.
  • The browser's Back button takes you to the previous view, with its filters.
  • You can bookmark the address or send it to a colleague to open that exact view.

In Contacts, each tab keeps its own filters, and Advanced filters keep working as before.

Conclusion

With one design across every table, what you learn on one screen works on all of them: where the filters are, how to sort, how to change pages and how to open a record. And since Contacts and Tasks keep your filters in the browser address, you can return to the view you use every day without setting it up again.

Relevant scenarios

A sales manager's daily view

If every morning you check the high-priority pending tasks of the same salesperson, apply those filters in All Pending Tasks once and bookmark the address in your browser. When you open it, the table is already filtered.

Sharing a specific contact list

To ask a salesperson to review the contacts in a given status of a Sales Brain (Playbook), filter the All contacts table with the "Playbook", "Flow step" and "Assigned to" filters, and send them the address: they'll see the same selection.
