Vixiees Workflows can now be scheduled to run at a specific time of day, instead of relying solely on an event (like a contact being created or a WhatsApp arriving).
1. What changes
Before, a Workflow could only be triggered by an event (contact created, WhatsApp received, etc.), with an optional relative delay. There's now a new trigger type — Scheduled — built for recurring, time-sensitive campaigns that used to depend on unreliable relative delays.
2. How to set it up
When creating or editing a Workflow's trigger, choose Scheduled and set:
- Time: the exact time of day it should run (HH:MM format).
- Repeat: one of four patterns — every day, specific days of the week, specific day(s) of the month, or the last day of the month.
- Months (optional): you can restrict the repeat to specific months of the year.
At each scheduled occurrence, the Workflow re-evaluates which contacts match its filters at that moment, the same way an event-based trigger would.
3. Important details
- The time is interpreted using the Sales Brain (Playbook)'s configured timezone; if none is set, the account's timezone is used instead.
- Since a fixed time is incompatible with a relative delay, the "Delay before running" option is automatically disabled (with a warning) when a scheduled trigger is selected.
- Deactivating the Workflow stops its future scheduled runs.
- Scheduled runs show up in the Workflow's history the same way event-based runs do.

Conclusion
You can now launch recurring campaigns at a fixed time of day, with whichever repeat pattern you need, without relying on relative delays.
