In Vixiees you can configure specific phone numbers to receive inbound calls in each Sales Brain (Playbook). This feature allows routing calls based on the dialed number to the correct Sales Brain (Playbook).


Concept of a Dedicated Number

Each Sales Brain (Playbook) can have one or more phone numbers assigned for inbound calls. When a contact calls that number, the system:

  • Identifies the Sales Brain (Playbook) associated with the number
  • Checks whether the contact already exists in the system
  • Routes the call to the corresponding salesperson according to the Sales Brain (Playbook)'s rules

Configuring Numbers

To assign numbers to a Sales Brain (Playbook):

  • Go to Settings > Telephony > Phone Numbers
  • Select the number you want to configure
  • In the "Inbound Playbook" field, choose the destination Sales Brain (Playbook)
  • Save changes

The number will be exclusively linked to that Sales Brain (Playbook) for inbound calls.


Call Behavior

When a call arrives at the dedicated number:

Multiple Numbers per Sales Brain (Playbook)

You can assign multiple numbers to the same Sales Brain (Playbook). This is useful when:

  • You have numbers from different countries or regions
  • You want to separate marketing campaigns by number
  • You need dedicated numbers for different acquisition channels

All inbound calls to any of these numbers will follow the same Sales Brain (Playbook) rules.


Important Considerations

A number can only be assigned to one Sales Brain (Playbook) at a time. If you change the assignment, future calls will go to the new Sales Brain (Playbook).
  • Numbers must be active and correctly configured in the telephony system
  • Number assignment does not affect outbound calls
  • Contacts created via inbound call inherit the Sales Brain (Playbook) of the called number
